The dates for the class are\u00a0February\u00a06th, 7th, and 8th, 2023.\u00a0You must attend all three classes.<\/p>\n<p>*NOTE: The Residential Services Orientation will take place in person at the San Andreas Regional Center San Jose office.<\/p>\n<p>To be registered you must complete the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Register (registration link can be found at the bottom of the post)<\/li>\n<li>Send a letter of intent to Ruby Hernandez at <a href=\"mailto:rhernandez@sarc.org\">rhernandez@sarc.org<\/a> and Gabriela Alvarez at <a href=\"mailto:galvarez@sarc.org\">galvarez@sarc.org<\/a> in a separate word document (letters of intent sent as emails will not be accepted).<\/li>\n<li>Send a resume to Ruby Hernandez at <a href=\"mailto:rhernandez@sarc.org\">rhernandez@sarc.org<\/a> and Gabriela Alvarez at<a href=\"mailto:galvarez@sarc.org\"> galvarez@sarc.org<\/a> in a separate word document (resumes sent as emails will not be accepted).<\/li>\n<li>Send a copy of your Community Care Licensing (CCL) administrator certificate to Ruby Hernandez at <a href=\"mailto:rhernandez@sarc.org\">rhernandez@sarc.org<\/a> and Gabriela Alvarez at<a href=\"mailto:galvarez@sarc.org\"> galvarez@sarc.org<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Send a copy of your Direct Support Professional (DSP) training year 1\u00a0and\u00a02 certificates\u00a0to\u00a0Ruby Hernandez at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:rhernandez@sarc.org\">rhernandez@sarc.org<\/a>\u00a0and Gabriela Alvarez at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:galvarez@sarc.org\">galvarez@sarc.org<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The letter of intent\u00a0must\u00a0include:\u00a0(if any question is not answered, it\u00a0will result in automatic denial)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why do you want to become a residential provider?<\/li>\n<li>What is your background and experience that prepared you for this position?<\/li>\n<li>What steps have you taken with CCL (Community Care Licensing)?<\/li>\n<li>Please describe the level of service you wish to provide.<\/li>\n<li>How will HCBS Final Rule impact the way you are going to provide services?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please conduct a grammar\u00a0and spell check to your letter of intent. We will not accept any letters of intent or registrations after 11:59pm, Friday, January 13, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>There are no waitlists. The next Residential Services Orientation will be on\u00a0May\u00a01st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2023.\u00a0Registration will be open in mid-March,\u00a0and you will find the registration\u00a0post\u00a0in the month of\u00a0May\u00a0on SARC&#8217;s events\u00a0calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Only two individuals per agency unless previously approved by the Community Services Unit Manager, Ann Sieber.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of day Friday, January 27, 2023,\u00a0you will be receiving a confirmation letter or denial letter\u00a0via email\u00a0confirming whether or not\u00a0you are in the class.
